Happy New Year to you!


Last night was the first New Year's eve in about 6 years where Christina and I were able to get out and pretend to be adults! While Grandma was watching the kids, we were attending a black-tie event with a Brazilian theme at the CYC. It was absolutely fantastic!

This morning however, was not so fantastic. I keep forgetting that I'm not 21 anymore, and believe me my body (and pounding head) is letting me know that in no uncertain terms. Nonetheless, we had a great time and I wouldn't change a thing. Besides, after 6 years of being homebody's on New Year's Eve, it was great to be with my beautiful wife, sharing a kiss while looking out at the fireworks display over the city. It doesn't get better than that!
