It has been one hell of a few months in the de Zafra household. Between the plumbing break under our house, car accidents, furnace breakdowns (in a house that was completely overhauled in 2003!!!) and a sea of work for both Christina and I, it's a wonder we've been able to pull of having it feel like Christmas at all! But decorate we did, and as I type this I'm looking at a fantastic tree.

So how the heck am I sitting here typing this instead of freaking out worrying about last-minute shopping? On-line baby! Amazon Prime is my friend. Free 2 day shipping and a sea of merchandise to choose from. Everyone got their stuff and I've only got one more gift to procure (Christie, if you're reading this... I'm not saying). Tomorrow it's off to ****** to buy a ****** ******! Then it's a bit of yard work, some lounging around the house with my family and my parents and then *POOF!* before you know it, it's 2010 and we're rolling down another year.

All I can say is that I'm absolutely stoked to see what 2010's got in store for everyone (friends and family included). So many good things lie ahead. For now though, I'm going to take the next 2 weeks and simply stop and smell the roses. 49 of them in-fact. Lord knows Christina would rather have it be less as she's the one who prunes them all every January. It's quite a process. But alas, that's a thought for another time.
